Phyllis G. Pollack, Esq., the principal of PGP Mediation, has been a distinguished mediator in Los Angeles, California since 2000. With a remarkable track record of over 2000 mediations, her expertise spans a broad range of fields including business, commercial, international trade, real estate, employment, and lemon law disputes, engaging at both the state and federal trial and state appellate court levels.

With more than 40 years of legal experience, Ms. Pollack adeptly utilizes her diverse background to facilitate effective resolutions. She is a recognized leader in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), having served as the past chair of the State Bar of California’s ADR Committee. Her leadership roles extend to her service on the board of the California Dispute Resolution Council (CDRC) from 2012 to 2013, as well as her tenure as past president and treasurer of the SCMA Education Foundation from 2011 to 2013. She was also the president of the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA) in 2010 and remains a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.

Currently, Ms. Pollack is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law, where she teaches ADR Ethics and Online Employment Dispute Mediation. She earned her BA in sociology from Newcomb College of Tulane University in 1973 and her JD from Tulane University School of Law in 1977. An active member of both the Louisiana and California bars, Ms. Pollack advocates for mediation over litigation, emphasizing that it’s never too late to mediate a dispute, as this approach allows parties to define their own resolutions.
